Artist Statement

Barbara is a contemporary impressionist, she paints the landscape, florals, and the still-life. With a gentle palette, expressive brushstrokes, and considered compositions, she invites the viewer in for a closer look. One of her greatest joys is sharing her time with the students she teaches and her fellow artists.

Artist Bio

Barbara is a working artist/teacher living in the Bronte area of Oakville. Originally from the east coast of Canada, her work is influenced by the coastal edges, her heritage, and the Canadian forests. Her work can be found in homes and galleries in Canada, the UK and the US.
