Award winning artist, Doris Treleaven started learning about metal in her father's tool-and-die shop. After being the youngest at 19 years old to get her real estate license in Ontario, she ultimately stepped back into the metal world and became a high-end pressure-vessel welder working in industrial settings. Always being creative at heart, she started making garden-oriented metal items in her garage. This developed into her metal art company 'Metalscape' in 2000. Working full time as a metal artist, she has made many original things for private homes, hotels, businesses, and public art. She has a metal studio in Limehouse and a showroom with unique creations.
