Information for this Year's Tour

Thank you to all of the artists and fine craftspeople of all kinds who will be in this year's Studio Art Tour.
Registration for the 2025 Studio Art Tour is now closed.
The FASM Studio Art Tour extends across from Milton to Georgetown, Limehouse, Acton, Guelph, Eden Mills, Campbellville, Carlisle, and Kilbride. It is an opportunity for visitors to enjoy a drive in the countryside, visit working artists’ studios, and purchase new and exciting work directly from the makers. Over 1000 guests visit our locations throughout the whole weekend.
The dates and times for the 2025 Studio Art Tour are set for Saturday, September 27th to Sunday, September 28th, from 10am to 5pm each day.
Artist Information
GENERAL INFORMATION:

All Artists must be a FASM member in good standing before your application will be considered. Haven't paid this year's Membership Fee yet? Membership Application

Your application and payment are due by March 31, 2025 (midnight). The Fee is $100 per Artist, and will not be refunded in full after May.

Each Artist will be responsible for costs to decorate and provide refreshments for their location. FASM will supply each Artist with promotional print material, but the cost of distributing print material will be left to each Artist.

Each Artist is responsible to find their own location on the Studio Art Tour; you will be assisted in this by the committee as best as possible. If your Studio can accommodate another Artist or two, please email Anne-Ellice at a-e.pascoe@fasm.ca.

All Artists are encouraged to demonstrate their art-making skills at their location.

Each Artist is responsible for distributing at least 100 Brochures.

Each Artist will be asked to post on social media to promote the event.

Each Artist will be asked to select a way to VOLUNTEER before their application will be considered:
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES AND TASKS:
Brochure Committee - 4+ people (March - May)

Design or use the one from last year (graphic artist will be available)

Getting all artists to review and approve the brochure write-ups
-
Picking up the Brochure order at Sherwood Printing in Georgetown
-
Distribution of Brochure - to ensure each artist has their 100
Sign Committee - 10+ people (August - September)

Getting the signs out and putting them back into storage at Country Heritage Park
-
Review the H frames inventory to determine if we need to order more
-
Check for any updates with the different Regions and Municipal By-laws

Map out where signs should be placed along the Tour route

Install and remove all signs along the route
Sponsors - 6 people (April - June)

Approach Businesses to get sponsorship ($ amounts based on the levels we have set on the form); complete the Sponsorship Form; obtain their Logo jpeg image
Advertising - 6 people to work with Anne-Ellice (March - May)

Determine what forms of advertising can fit our budget

Bus ads / Signarama options for big advertising

Post flyers on noticeboards

Look at what is available in print (ex, Milton Villager, community magazines, etc.)
Social Media - 2 people (August-September)

Look for new social media sites (ex. Alignable, etc.)

Look at the use of Hashtags
